I greatly enjoyed this lovely family-run hotel. the room was good value for money and equipped with comfortable beds. the garden and showers were great, just as described. the venue's position was magnificent and perfectly comfortable. It was close to a pedestrian street, the center of Tours, and various bars and restaurants.

Very modern design of interiors in comfort queen room. In the centre of the city, very convenient. Situated only 1 km from an extraordinary museum.

I truly enjoyed staying in this great value and charming small hotel based in a French building. The breakfast was adequate with plenty of meals. The rooms were cheap and stylish with an individual safe and a TV set. The location was comfortable, close to the river, and my bed was comfortable...
The area was really busy.

The location and helpfulness of the owners
Via Michelin have the location of the hotel wrong on the map and directions

The owners and staff were truly kind and helpful. They helped me book a half-day tour of some chateaux and arranged the night before an early departure for a taxi. Whenever I asked for assistance in my high school french they were friendly and gracious and went the extra mile to make sure everything was arranged properly. The location of the hotel is also terrific--directly on the street with the best restaurants in Tours and a short walk from the tourist sites and the Loire. My room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable with a well-equipped and stylish bathroom and a nice view of the garden.
Don't be deceived by the somewhat shabby lobby. When I first arrived I thought I had made a poor choice of hotel--the reception area looks like one of the cheaper hotels in Paris I used to stay in as a college student. The rooms are a different story. Although my room's intensely red decor was not to my taste, it was quite large and very comfortable. It would be nice if it had better lighting especially with the dark red walls, but this was minor. If the owners can find a way to modernize the reception area I think they could add a star and raise their prices because everything except the initial impression when you first walk in is at a high standard.

Enjoyed a stylish and clean room on a higher floor, with a great location close to Rue Nationale Street nearby. Rewritten: I had a great stay in a trendy and clean room on an upper level, and the location was fantastic, with Rue Nationale Street just a short distance away.

Friendly, helpful receptionist with good English skills. Conveniently located for the old town, bars and restaurants. Perhaps fortunately but we were able to find free on road parking a 100 metres or so away from the hotel The free Wifi throughout the hotel worked well.
The hotel is in a narrow almost pedestrianised street which made it harder to find than many others, but somehow we got there in a car. Slightly tired feel to the hotel compared to others. As with virtually all of the hotels we have stayed in on our French holiday to date, the rooms are relatively small, and lack coffee making / kettle and fridge which would have been appreciated.

It's a family run inn! The entire family helped to make our stay very pleasant. Rooms were a great size and it was on a fantastic street. Could not have asked for a better location.

The rooms were very clean and well designed; the location was excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful!
The parking was not really as available as we'd thought from the website. The "free" parking did not actually have any available spots (they were not reserved exclusively for the hotel so were all taken for the entire stay). It would have been good to know that in advance, though we did manage to find free parking elsewhere in the city.

we enjoyed our stay which was for 5 days. slightly worried when we saw the actual location ie right in the middle of busy street with bars and lots of people but once in hotel - no noise plus we were at the back of the hotel and it was fine and very quiet. room good size and ensuite shower. 5/10 minute easy walk to station and buses. near to plenty of eateries. It was basic but everything worked and it was clean. we will re book again. staff were friendly and they spoke enough english for us to converse as unfortunately our french is pretty basic. but we would re book when returning to Tours.
there was no one on the "desk" after 8pm but this was not a problem to us as we were out more than in the hotel and you had a door entry number to get into the hotel.

We had a room overlooking garden, the hotel was quiet and absolutely fabulous. The room was fully functional and there were facilities, including central heating, a personal safe, and multi-channel TV. The staff was very pleasant throughout our stay. The property had marvellous and fantastic location near local attractions, and the Tours TGV train station. It also was very close to everything.
